Earlier versions have sound, but later versions don't. Where to look for the reason?

Only chrome? Try to check the [01-Components] -> [zh-RuntimeKits] -> [Support more applications] option.

Cent browser old version sound yes, work fine, but newest version not sound.
In volume mixer not browsers icon.

Taskbar:Pin固定到任务栏，  23H2和24H2构建的只用替换低版本的shell32.dll就可以，25H2和26H2构建替换低版本的shell32.dll还需要替换PECMD.exe V201201.88.05.85 X64版本

Newest FireFox sound not work, too.
Early versions work fine.
Chrome-browesers same thing, except 360extreme browser.
"Support more applications" does not affect...
Browser authors don't want them to work on WinPE, probably.

Widows 11 (10.0.22000.194) + Chrome 150.0.7871.129 works fine.

WimBuilder2 option: Default preset + Network(without Network Drivers) + Audio.

For more information with your build.
use the latest WimBuilder2?

Cent browser v5.2.1168.83 _portable Upgraded to Chromium 132.0.6834.210 ---> sound not work
360extremebrowser 22.3.5116.64 --> sound yes
Firefox 102.3 esr --> sound yes
Firefox the newest version --> sound not work
Vivaldi Chromium 150.0.7871.178 ==> sound do not work and video do not work.
Brave Chromium 150  ==> sound do not work, video work.

Windows 11 10.0.22000.194 == The same problems Windows == 11 10.0.28000.1450
Windows 10 ==> all of the above works perfectly in all variants.

The problem is the same in all variants
The problem is the same in different settings.

Iinstalling native sound-video drivers does not help, the situation does not change.

It looks like Browsers are to blame for everything?
Or am I mistaken?

change the owner of [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion] registry key to be "Everyone"
and apply the owner to all subkeys.
The browers will play the sound.
